Now, there are tools that can cover large areas of your everyday challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I know it because I know Mention like the back of my hand. I see its value and I know how to use it to meet different targets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  2. Click on your Profile > Settings<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click on integrations<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Click on Slack<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Select the alert<\/strong> and the Slack channel<\/strong> you\u2019d like to receive mentions in.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    2. Use tags to create alerts within your alerts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    If you\u2019re not using tags yet, your life is about to become so much simpler. Trust me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    First things first: what is a tag?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Tags let you identify mentions containing specific terms within your alerts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Let\u2019s take a concrete example.<\/p>\n\n\n

    You\u2019re Marvel and you are already monitoring everything that\u2019s being said about the Marvel <\/em>brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    It\u2019s great, but it\u2019s also a lot of noise right? Especially for such a big name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Which character\/license generates the most noise online? What are people saying about them?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Well, Tags let you do that, without you having to create a specific alert, each time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Tags are very easy to set up with Mention.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

    We listened to the noise generated around the Black Friday, back in November 2018. As an example, retailers could very well use tags to listen to the noise generated around the Black Friday Week to adjust their gaming console stocks for Christmas<\/strong>. To do that, they could create tags to measure Playstation\u2019s vs. Nintendo\u2019s vs. Microsoft\u2019s online print during the Black Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Note that tags work retroactively<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I love tags. They help me to dig through the noise and focus on what matters the most. Another time I used it is during the #CES2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. Schedule your social media posts on Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin and Instagram from Mention<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    This is definitely something you probably did not know (it\u2019s one of our latest features).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
