Diversify Your Posts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Above, we have mentioned how Instagram is a\nvery versatile platform where we can use various forms of content to reach our\naudience, from Posts to Stories to paid ads and IGTV. However, the\n\u2018traditional\u2019 Posts alone can be approached in various different ways with\nseveral different types of content: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Photos and Images<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Instagram is originally a platform to showcase\nphotos, so it\u2019s only natural that you should use this type of content. You can\nuse photos and images in creative ways to indirectly promote your music, for\nexample by posting a really interesting image that is related to your song, and\nthen include the link to download\/stream your song in the caption area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Videos<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You can post up to 60 seconds recorded or live\nvideos in Posts (not to be confused with videos in IGTV and Stories, which we\nwill discuss later on. Don\u2019t forget that you can also use a still image with a snippet of\nyour music if necessary. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, most users scroll their Instagram feed\nwith muted sound by default, so use subtitles with your videos to allow people\nto consume your content when they are in a public place without headphones. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Text<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, you can post textual content (i.e. blog) on Instagram in your captions. Yet, nowadays more people are using Stories, so you\nstill have to combat all the noises and saturations. Make sure to use\nattractive visuals, appropriate hashtags, and location tags. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">IGTV<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>IGTV essentially allows us to upload longer video content, up to 10 minutes for regular users and up to 60 minutes for <a href=\"https:\/\/mention.com\/en\/blog\/instagram-verified-badge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Instagram verified accounts<\/a>. Also, IGTV is uniquely designed for vertical videos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IGTV in the Instagram ecosystem is fairly new,\nbeing just a little over a year old.
